Hi Angela,
Not sure why this shot has been overlooked. I like it a lot.
The loneliness of the cross country skier is depicted perfectly here, the balance in the composition looks right, the colours of the winter scene present well and the bare trees accentuate the feeling as well.
Also I like the circular swirl marks (possibly a ploughed field) in the foreground.
Lovely work, and thanks for the informative note.
Regards
Peter

Hi Angela,
What a great way to shake off the winters blues and cabin fever that strikes around this time of year.
The skiier lends fine scale to this lovely winter landscape that is blessed with a clear blue sky that is wonderfully flattered by the golden tones of the winter grass.

Hello Angela, I must agree with Peter on this one, I also can't understand why it has not received more attention, well exposed, nice natural looking winter colours, excellent clarity, the lone skier is well placed in the frame & an excellent element not only adding life but interest to this beautiful winter scene.
Thank you
Santo
