Photographer’s Note

This is Wampus Brook Park in Armonk New York. While driving home from work it started to snow so i decided to stop at the park and take some shots.

Armonk is a census-designated place (CDP) located in the town of North Castle in Westchester County, New York. As of the 2000 census, the CDP population was 3,461.

Armonk is home to the global headquarters of information technology company IBM and bond insurer MBIA, and the Americas headquarters of reinsurer Swiss Re.

Smith's Tavern, an historical site and landmark of the Revolutionary War, is located in Armonk and is the home of the North Castle Historical Society. The North Castle Public Library, a member of the Westchester Library System, is also located in Armonk.

Hi Angela,
This is a very peaceful winter landscape that you have captured here with the partically frozen stream and the gently sloping foot bridge and the light snow falling.
This looks like a great place to shake off the cabin fever on these short dark winter days.

Hi Angela,They is a deserted region but with wintry atmosphere. They is beautiful composition and enchanting choice of frame! impressive picture with footbridge and trees without leaves gives the particular beauty!

Beautiful panoramic view of the icy river and the bridge in the snow, I like the snow falling texture in the woods. The bridge sever as a anchor point and the wood are nicely capture with good details and natural colors and good composition. Thanks

Hello Angela, Very impressive image, the panoramic view is an excellent choice. The stop was well rewarded, the bridge is interesting & well placed, I like the red flowers adding a little colour, but for me the snow falling is the icing on the cake. Colours & clarity are spoton.
