Photographer’s Note

WAIMEA CANYON, KAUAI
Waimea Canyon, on Kauai's west side, is more than 1.000 meter deep and provides stunning panoramic views of crested buttes, rugged crags, and deep valley gorges.
The Waimea Canyon is nicknamed "The Grand Canyon of the Pacific."
We took a helicopter flight out of the Lihue Airport.
We flew up through the Waimea Canyon and out over the Na Pali Coast.
Flying through the canyon was most exhilirating.

Hello Kris ,
Fantastic canyon ! Excellent Point of view on it . It is very impressive . It looks like some canyons in Canary islands , other volcanics islands .
