One of my favorite places in the world is The Coupeville Wharf, Penn Cove, Whidbey Island, Washington. Often I have sailed into Penn Cove have docked at this dock next to the wharf. Coupeville is one of the oldest settlements in our area. The surrounding waterways are a temporate paridise for those who are fond of sailing small boats, and I was personally deeply moved by my first experience sailing in this area.
Additional note: Penn Cove is famous for a seafood delicacy, Penn Cove Muscles.
Details: Taken handheld with a Nikon D40x. Exposure: 1/250th sec at f/8, ISO 100. Focal length: 26mm. Post processing notes: Modest color enhancement. Partial architectual adjustment to compensate for wide angle.

Beautiful vertical presentation with the long deck providing excellent depth.
Lovely varying shades of blue to the lake.

Good perspective on this deck and its long poles. Natural colours with the coloured kayakjs bringing a lively note.
