Photographer’s Note
Snow is rare in Seattle. When there's an inch of snow on the ground, the city is paralyzed. The past few days have brought over a foot of snow in some areas - we're calling it a December to Remember. This photo was taken on a popular recreational trail (Burke Gilman) that stretches over 25 miles.

Hi Claudia
Good for you for getting out there. Yes the west coast is getting its fair share this year and today is no exception. There is a hint that the sun is trying to come out and you have captured that. The empty bench certainly conveys a message.
