Hello Olga,
Your image of the ice in Alaska make a compelling photograph, perfectly composed, impecably exposed. The subtle colors in the melting water, the high defintion in the edges of the ice makes the experience entirely immediate. The viewer feels the temperature! It reminds me very much of a shot that I submitted, and which I am happy to see a partner at TE: Minus 40
Warm regards from Virginia,
Bulent
Hi Olga,
Minus 32 degrees celcius!! My God, what were you doing outside?! ;-) When looking at the thumnail, I wasn't really drawn to the picture, but you have some very nice detail in it! The little stream going down, the speed making it dynamic instead of a 'froozen' picture. Nice one!
Greetings, Dennis
PS: What were you doing there??!! Minus 32 is not exactly Dolphin-temperature ;-)
Olga, hi :)
Your picture represents a beautiful part of Alaska, but also the white-blue colors are typical for temperatures like -32.
Great job, very well composed and clear. I've always dreamed about such a trip ... it must be very cold, but also very very beautiful ...
Best regards,
Rossy
