Photographer’s Note

Monument Valley back in February 2009. Winter sunshine and blue skies with lots of scatted snow on the ground.

A perfect time to visit the park as there are few tourists compared to other seasons.

We arrived at Monument Valley around midnight the evening before this was taken and will never forget the excitment we had of seeing the sillouettes of the formations against the night sky as we drove.

A truely beautiful place.

A very nice scenery. These places often makes me think of summer, but this is a nice photo showing that there is winter there too. You show me a good composition also. TFS.

Merci d'avoir visité ma galerie qui m'a permit de visiter la tienne et d'y découvrir cette magnifique photo qui me rappelle un peu les Westerns Américains que j'allais voir dans les années '50. Belle prise de vue et beau contraste entre le sol et le ciel.
