I am both a geologist and a photographer (amateur) and I really would like to visit Yellowstone. I have seen wonders from that park and believe it is in my priority list. It is a very nice POV with good colours and a superb sky. Well done.

Hi Shaeri,
A place interesting for the geologists but also for the simple walker. The landscapes are really splendid in this area. Beautiful point of view here with the river. The natural colors are pleasant and I like much this sky which brings a good harmony to the image. Thank you for sharing Shaeri.
With all my friendships and with soon,

Very good shot of the valley. There is lots of depth in the scene thanks to the foreground tree and a good choice of DOF. You have captured the colours well.
We have plans to include Yellowstone in our US trip in September.

Hi, Shaeri. Yellowstone is an amazing place. Its canyon with its rich colours is one of the most interesting places, I think. The river leads us well into the picture and the dark trees contrast well with the light-coloured stone. The light is very good.

Hello Shaeri. Wonderful high angle shot capturing this pristine image. The tree and foliage on the left balances well with the baron rock with loose pines at the bottom. The Yellowstone River, being the main attraction here is good sharpness making every flow so visible in good contrast. The sky is just on your side and you can't do much wrong with that. well done and have a nice day. Regards, Jusni.

hi Shaeri
I remembered the night I camped at YNP and it was 2am after we cooked supper and went to bed. A black bear came to sniff the pots and pans we left outside the tent with left over food - we forgot to keep food away. Lucky we were unharmed.
This is a nice shot of the colors in YNP and recalled good memories for me. Great view of dotted plants along the slopes. Really must re-visit this place.

Shaeri,
I can see that this is a landscape dude like me a real paradise. I guess I will have to ask my boss for a transfer to Wyoming. ;-)
The composition with the bend of the river and the exposed yellow terrain is a good one and yet I'm not quite sure about the big pine tree in obstructing the view at the left. I feel it a little bit as cluttering.

Hi, Shaeri,
this is wonderful. Your POV shows a great deal of the scenery and the colors are fabulous. I really like the way the river curves back into the shot and you have great detail. Beautiful sky, too. This is an oustanding shot! Thanks and warm regards,

Hi Shaeri, I haven't actually seen that many shots of Yellowstone, other than "Old Faithful" of course. This is a very good shot of the territory, showing us the dry terrain with the yellow stone, with little vegetation other than the conifers. The sky here (in your shot) is great with very good colour and great cloud cover. You picked a great spot for your photo with the river meandering away to the left.
Thanks, John

Hi Shaeri. The yellow stone contrasts well with the lovely sky you have captured. Its quite nice to see it reflected in the river also. Good composition with the natural framing of the trees on the left. Well captured and thanks for sharing.
Cheers, Paul.

Dear Shaeri
Your post answered the question I had in my mind when I was young...why this name! A nice shot with a good POV, where the stream curves away from view. The tree in the FG provides a lot of depth. Well done!
Best Wishes
