Photographer’s Note
Got up for sunrise one morning. The fires were burning in Ca. The smoke in the air made for a great situation.
I used a cpl to get the sky that blue, the pinks in the clouds are about right though.
The valley is very dark...probably due to the circ pol.
My question is are alot of yall using cokin graduated polaizers to get a light forground and a blue crisp sky?
Next question is does anyone have a photoshop suggestion to correct the foreground somewhat..if not I have to wait another year to take the shot(aspens have lost their folliage now).
thanks,
Dan

Hi Dan,
The soft colors leading to the sky give this photo a dreamy quality.

Nice mountains and sky. Good detail in trees but field looks a little washed out. Not sure what you were looking for but I posted an idea to the workshop

nice, dreamy picture. what a great light there was. Still yes, there is some problems with the foreground.
