Photographer’s Note

Mount Moran, Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming.

A slightly different view of Mt. Moran. Most images seen of Mt Moran are usually shot about 500m further down to road at the Oxbow Bends of the Snake River. The bends were really crowed this morning and I could not find a spot without someone in the image. I like this setup because the aspens are framing the mountain and hiding the bulk of the Teton Range.

Just a little side note - the day after I captured this image the first portion of the first snow storm of the season moved into the region. Needless to say, I never got the classic Oxbow Bend image with the wonderful reflections.
