Photographer’s Note
We were below Devil's Tower looking at the prairie dogs, and just as I snapped the picture, this prairie dog leaned on the blade of grass. It made me think of an old man leaning on a cane. Hence the name Old Man Prairie dog.

This is a really cute fellow - too bad the photo is anything but sharp. I suppose this is a scan of a print and those always come out a lot worse than digital shots, but it does seem to be blurred to start with. Also, those white lines on the top and bottom are somewhat distracting. Are they also from the scanning process?
