Photographer’s Note
This day of the roadtrip was spent driving 16 hours from Chicago, Illinois to Cheyenne, Wyoming. During those 16 hours the scenery changed very little, leading to the description of "Impressively Boring." Farms, open cattle ranges and few farm houses dot Interstate 80 west for hundreds of miles.
Having come from the most densely populated state in the United States, it is truly amazing the amount of open space, leading me to wonder whose land this actually is. There is no house or distinctive characteristics as far as the eye can see. This shot was taken underneath an overpass (only one we had seen for about an hour). The sun was setting over the farms and this barbwire fence was a nice addition.
I plan on posting another shot taken at this location in color. Let me know what you think.
