Japanese Gardens

Japanese Gardens are fairly common in the western USA. As in this case, they are serene places within larger cities. They are very similar in appearance regardless where you find them.

Unique about this garden is that it is located in Spokane, Washington USA. That is in the far eastern side of the state near Idaho. That is a bit unusual.

yep, I haven't been here. Washington State is one of the 8 states missing in my U.S. curriculum vitae... I'll have to do something about it.
I like this picture. I like the tranquility, the shadowplay, the greens, and the way you framed it. Even at first glance one can sense this is the American Northwest. Well... I sense it.

Steve, this one has a nice peacefulness to it, not only the scene but the capture and the color pallet as well. Fine color and detail as usual.
