Photographer’s Note
I live within an hour's drive of Mt. Rainier. About once every year I drive up there to shoot some pictures. This year I went a little later than I would have liked to. I was either too busy, or the weather wasn't very cooperative. Although we had a late spring this year, by the time I went in September, the wildflowers were pretty much done blooming. The day I visited, I was stopped by several people with stories of bear sightings.
