Photographer’s Note
This building is the product of the Cold War architecture: thick, ugly concrete walls with fortress-like shape. Designed to withstand bombs and to prevent spying devices during the cold war, they look more like bunkers than government offices. They're still in use untill today. I work in one of those buildings. Because of this paranoid design, it’s difficult to receive radio or cell phone signals from inside the building.
I turned to sepia to emphasize the dull and boring look or the building.

You've done a nice job of capturing the feel of buildings of this era. They are just so ugly and all the same. The angle is great and the sepia tone works well. I just wish the sky was not so white.
Believe it or not, I've lived in Seattle five years now and have not made it to Olympia yet. I'll have to take a trip down there some day and at least see the capitol.

Shooting diagonal, to me, is the most difficult path for success in photography. I had to accept horizontal and vertical formats after continuous rejects of my submitting film by my former employer, the Associated Press. It took me more months to sacrifice this luxury, even longer than the time to quit smoking.
