Photographer’s Note

At the background is the Washington State Capitol building. It is often confused and compared with America's Capitol building because of the similarity in design. Constructed between 1922 and 1928, it stands on a hill overlooking the southern tip of Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains, for which Olympia was named.

Hello Alford,
very well captured and nicely composed shot during the blue hour. You placed the building very well between the water jets so it is perfectly visible. The dof is very good, the focus is perfect, the light is great and the blurred people add a nice effect to the pic.

Hi Alford. Wow this is great! I had no idea they had this there. Taking this during the blue hour was a great idea. I see no noise and I love the illuminated fountains. Beautiful work Alford!

Beautiful blue hour view, I find it a good idea to have shot beween the water, it provides a different perspective, exposure is good, just a little bit of OE on the lamps on the left, difficult to avoid but not so bad, good general impression remains.
