Photographer’s Note

Farm somewhere near Yakima, Washington.
Eastern Washington is the rural area of Washington, not many big cities, mainly just farms like this one.

Picture taken while moving in car at 70MPH, through the window. I think it came out nice all things considered.

Great composition on the photo and good shot for taking a photo doing 70mph. I like the clouds and you have made me home sick my parents still live in the Yakima Valley.

Hello Matthew,
when I look at your last 2 posts, I wonder why you posted the first one. I mean the first is good, especially with those clouds that look like we could shovel them. But his one is way better in my opinion. the point of view is better and the subject is more distinct. I like the lines going as if they meet up there.
However, overall the light is rather dull. There is this nice light hitting the ground on the left. So, I wonder if it had been possible to move to your left to still have this effect with the lines in the foreground, but to have a more luminous background...

Hi Mathew.

Wonderfully sharp pinstripe rows .. especially for out a car window. I love how the clouds are angled against the rows. .. that creates a nice sense of motion.

A nice view, and you played nicely with the foreground lines to produce beautiful depth.
I like too the light management you made, with interesting contrast between FG and sky.
