I live just behind the trees, in the Yakima Valley. The view is from the hill above Cowiche Canyon. The time is 7.30am

Well cropped and framed.
Lights of sunrise are wonderful too.
Why don't you post it as LARGE PIC ?!

My first question was: where the h... is Yakima. I've never heard about that place. Than my surprise: Washington? It looks much more like California. I always thought that Washington would be covered with luxious green allover. Well, I guess I learned something new today.
Nice that you gave the option of a large version to really appreciate the vaste place. I like how the sunlight comes in with partial shade in the mountains.
Why did you use only 64kb and not the allowed 200kb to download the shot?
I'm not so quite sure about the grey coloured frame. It takes a lot space of the picture itself.

Hi Roger,
Very nice panorama,like the bit of green that proceeds the arid hills.I also like how the mountains touch the pale blue sky.
