Photographer’s Note
Several years ago, I was in Pt. Defiance Park in Tacoma, WA in the spring when I noticed this patch of bright yellow tulips, with one non-conformist red bloom standing rather defiantly out. I felt this kind of individualism deserved to be recorded, and took this shot. This is a scan of a slide from a long time ago.
