Photographer’s Note
While looking at some interesting vessels at a marina, I noticed this distinctive old Chevy truck. It had been cloudy (surprise, western Washington...), but the sun broke through and juiced up the rust. There are so many colors and certainly an example of Americana, long since gone.

I like the colors of this rusty car, with the very famous symbol.
Sometimes details of old things can become a great subject, like in this case.

Hi,
I'm a rust freak. One can discover fabulous colours and patterns and abstract art in rusty cars and other rusty "junk". "Beauty lies in the eye of the beholder". My rust pics are on TE and TN.
Your otherwise excellent image would be improved. I'd suggest, by darkening up the over-exposed lower left and center part using the burn tool.

Hi Dana,
Great looking rusty detail. Goon composition with that text and curving lines. Strong sharpening gives this grainier look that it really is.

Hello Dana,
Long time no see....
But as always you bring us something interesting and here in that old and rusty chevy you really found something interesting. Love those colour combinations and the framing you choose here. Brings out great detail and that sun what shines on certain parts enlighten that feeling even more...very nice work, good eye in seeing this.

Hi Dana,
I especially like the rust around the Chevy logo-give it enough time, and it will rust off, leaving a gapping hole, which no problem, just slap some bondo on and keep going. Many nice colours, patterns, textures. I disagree about needing any PP. It's just right this way.

Hello Dana,
Fabulous, sugary grain and glowing colours. Very well framed to emphasise the meeting of the curved panels.
Very enjoyable image.
Best wishes...Maggie

Hi Dana!
Excellent colors, here, well saturated, and an original close-up on this old Chevy's back. The rust provides a great color's range and the tight frame is pretty graphic. Well done!
