Photographer’s Note
Yet another image taken at the Lavender Festival in Sequim. This little girl wouldn't cooperate with her parents who wanted to take a picture of her. After I spotted her I asked the parents if they minded me taking a picture of her the little girl stopped walking and posed for me.

Hi Andrea, this is a really good photo. I was also taking photos of lavender this weekend but it was in the Cotswolds in England. I like almost everything about this photo but have 2 minor points: I would like to have seen the girl's face unobstructed by lavender, and her face is a bit too shadowed by her hat (hardly your fault), causing a slight loss of detail. But as I say these are minor & the overall effect is quite striking. Well caught!
