Photographer’s Note
This picture of the poppies in front of the lavender was also taken at the Sequim Lavender Festival last weekend. Sequim has a uniquely dry climate (unusual for Washington) because it lies in the shadow of the Cascade mountain range. Lavender thrives in a dry climate in a sandy soil.

These colors are spectacular! I like how you made the lavender the background for the flowers. It adds some wonderful texture to the scene.

Belle composition et magnifiques couleurs. les boutons qui se détachent sur le lit de lavande sont du plus bel effet. bravo !
