Young adults celebrate Norwegian Independence Day in Ballard, a community in Seattle, Washington.
Ballard has a very large population of people of Scandinavian descent. This area was first settled by immigrant Nordic fishermen and mill workers more than 100 years ago.
Taken hand held with a Nikon D40X DSLR:
