I was Geo-Caching with wife and decided get this photo of one of the Moran Prairie Farms here in Southern Spokane county the farmer should be cutting the wheat and the weeds in about a week. I had a few people asking if I was doing a survey for development. No just getting a photo. The farmland around here is being developed for apartment complexes and housing developments. I'm sure in the next few years this farm and wheat field will be gone. My kids gave me a new camera to use it's a Kodak it's OK 10 pixels does make a difference, Have a great weekend.

This is a fine composition with good emphasis to the golden wheat, leading nicely up to the red barn as an eye-catcher in the back!
A fine late summer scene, could be anywhere around my place too as the red barn is quite common here...
A balanced composition with good details!

very nice landscape view with the house and its barn to be an eye cacher.I like the brilliant light as the vivid colours of the scene. The feeling of freedom is diffused in the whole scene.Well done.

The yellow wheat on the foreground look great. I think it contrast very nicely with the red barn. Too bad this farm will disappear. This is something that happens often around Calgary. With the city expanding so fast many ranches and farms either end up inside the city or are taken over. Cheers.

A very nice rural view with the red farmhouse which arise very well in the image. Good balance in the composition with the farmhouse well located and the field in the FG which give a great depht to the image. Colors and contrasts well collected too.
Have a nice day,

The foreground is an eye-catcher with the golden wheat. The sharpness is very good and the light too. The point of view is excellent as well as the composition. The new camera made a good work as well as you.

Lovely capture of this ripe golden grain leading up to the traditional red barn and vivid blue sky.
A lovely bit of Americana that sadly will be lost to future generations.

Hi Jason. The red barn stood out pretty well in this Prairie farm. Well managed perspective with trees making good division against blue sky.
TFS and best regards,
