Photographer’s Note
This is easily the most impressive waterfall in southwestern Washington, and is one of the more impressive in the state. The falls is a total of 275 ft. and 50 ft. in width and runs year round. Unfortunately, because of the angle the falls descend at, all 3 of the tiers can not be seen collectively. The upper 100 foot tier is visible on it's own, and the two lower tiers, 100 feet and 75 feet respectively, are visible together. Shown in my photo are just the two lower tiers.
The hike to reach the falls is a mere 1.7 miles and well worth the short trek to see this beautiful falls.
I merged 3 photos together to get the two lower tiers in one photo.

There you go cheating on me, hiking without me, and you picked an "EASY" hike! I'm so jealous, this turned out nicely. I don't think I've been up this trail in a few years. I like the dropping tiers, and the mossy grass of the rocks below.

Hi Julie,
Beautiful waterfal shot. It looks so real. Very good result on the merge job. You got just the righ exposure for all the shots, what is difficult on this situation where some angles are darker than others.
Congratulations.

Julie, this is beautiful. A very nice waterfall shot. Great idea to merge three photos, I wouldnt have noticed if you hadn't mentioned it, but I can see just a little on the bottom part of the waterfall where it was merged. If this bothers you, you can cone a little bit to get ride of that line (but it's hardly noticable)
nice!
