Photographer's Note
One of my favorite subjects is old buildings (barns, shacks & sheds). I found this dwelling by accident following a record rainstorm in Washington state- I went looking for flood scenes.
I took a wrong turn and came to the end of the road and was presented with this photo op. The original is in color, of course, but decided to convert it to B/W and leave the sign in brilliant yellow.
One of my favorite pics, and a screensaver for several of my friends.

what a great old wooden shack! :-) guess you were kind of lucky on this one. excellent composition and pov with it almost
"hiding" in the bushes. terrific idea with desaturating everything but the bright yellow sign. well seen & captured, thor.

Great picture. Can I have permission to use this picture as a background for a slide in a powerpoint presentation? My wife is teaching a Bible class for teenage girls called "Dead End." I will put your name on the slide to give credit.
