Photographer’s Note
As I post this picture these leaves are being blown to kingdom come from a bit of a wind storm. I was happy to have some sun earlier when I shot this picture. I think when I look out side tomorrow the leaves will all be gone! Happy fall everyone.

Hi Mary!
I had meant to comment this photo before, but then didn't, so now I am doing it!
The colours are really beautiful: the green, the blue, the red and gold! You did well bringing out your camera just at the right moment: As you say, you were lucky to enjoy that bit of sunshine, just before the leaves were blown away!
This is often what photography is about: photographing a subject at the right time!
