St George Temple Photo

Photographer’s Note

Taken on a foggy morning. This LDS temple is a major landmark in southern Utah. Made of sandstone which was covered in white plaster so that it would stand out against the red rock mountains in the area.

Magnifique apparition fantôme......excellente prise, j'aime beaucoup.Cette apparition à travers les arbres, cette lumière, digne d'un conte. Belle architecture à la blancheur immaculée.

Très jolie photo, le temple a l'air d une apparition, c'est mystique. Il manques quelques fantômes par ci par là !! Le cadrage est très bien fait, les couleurs superbes.

Hi Allan,
As some people already said, this one really looks like a snap shot from a fairy tale. The glowing temple against a sombre blue sky, the softness of the light, and trees all give a feeling of real and unreal - like a dream. Wonderful.

Hello Alan! This is a masterpiece, the fog really adds a mystical almost spirtual quality to it that fits the subject perfectly. Brilliant use of the silhoutted trees. I will have seek out the temple the next time I shoot thru St George.
