Photographer’s Note
This is a wide angle view of the East wing of the Utah State Capitol building. I am experimenting with HDR to manage the shadows and highlights. This was shot RAW using three exposures (+1, 0, -1) then merged with CS3's HDR tool. I am impressed with the architecture in this building, and to think it was completed early 20th century still boggles my mind. The building recently underwent a refurbish job and now sparkles like new. They just don't build things like this anymore!

Hello Steve,
Great shot - I love the POV which makes you look up and nearly backwards as you look at the intricate glass roof. I really like the shades of greyish blue. I would love to see the Utah State Capitol building in person. Yes, as you are boggled by the skill of the 20th Century architecture - I am likewise boggled at your 3 exposures merged with CS3 HDR Tool, although I am new at this high tech photography game :).
Once again, congratulations on a great shot.
Warm regards from Australia,
Graham.
