From my Bedroom Window Photo

Photographer’s Note

Location: My bedroom in Orem, Utah.

About the Photo: I've seen other people post pictures taken out their own windows and I always thought it was interesting. So here is a view out my bedroom window looking south towards the city of Provo. The mountains in this photo are known as Squaw Peak and "Y" Mountain. The sun had already set and this big cloud was glowing such a brilliant pink I just had to take a picture. The moon is visible just underneath the cloud.

I also wanted to mention that I did absolutely no post processing on this photo, besides resizing and sharpening. I usually play around with levels, or color balance or something, but this one looked so nice I didn't want to touch it.

I'm jealous of your bedroom view! Nice capture, I thought the whole frame was tilted but on closer inspection it's just the cloud giving that effect. Great colours from an unprocessed shot.

Very nice shot Ryan! That clouds possesses both great color and shape and you positioned it nicely in the frame. I did not see the moon right away but suddenly it appeared for me and added more interest to the scene.

I've posted your wonderful pink cloud over the Wasatch mountains to "from my window." I love pink clouds, I always think of them as ice cream clouds. You certainly do have a inspiring view from your window.

Nice shot out of your bedroom window. Rich colors, beautiful clouds [and moon too]. The only thing I see from my window is the building across the street :(
