Photographer's Note
If you think this is very familiar, don’t be surprised. Most likely you got impression from American Western movies. This point so named because it was a favorite shooting location for film director John Ford.

Hi, Tiffany,
Good idea to make this photo in sepia. It really reminds me some old western-style movie.(... a special music as a background).
Good report from The Wild West!

HOwdy Tiffany,
A fine sepia view of John Ford country, focusing on texture and detail instead of colors, and a bonus with the horse on the bluff.
One minor suggestion - crop out the blank sky?
Good job,
cheers,
Ray

Hello Tiffany,
Yes you're absolutely right i also i've had the impression to see an image taken on a western's set. The sepia tone is the best to recreate the atmosphere of this kind of movies: well done.
I remember when i went to Monument Valley, it's probably one the most beautiful places i've ever seen! I hope you have had the same feelings about it.
TFS, regards,
Luca

Hello, excellent choice with the sepia tones to give the impression of an antique photo. Excellent pov looking out upon the expanse of the American southwest in Monument valley. It is a different impression than the color photos.
Nice image,
Karen

Hi Tiffany
I like the sepia treatment like in very old movies
Same remark as before on the possibility to crop some of the sky for pano format which would be quite adapted here IMHO
Good picture, best regards
Patrick
