Photographer's Note

Unlike many rivers in the area, the Little Bear River keeps itself pretty clean, even through a few miles of farmland. This river comes from two main sources. Once source is found in the mountains you see there as we look south. The other source is from the east (to the left) where it comes from the Bear River Range. It is home to many animals, particularly waterfowl at this juncture where it is nice and slow. It makes for great
boating
.

This was taken at one of those times when I just had to get away for awhile, just me and my camera. Just as the sun was starting to rise, I took the shot. It was so quiet, not even any traffic on the road behind me as I walked near and through the marshes here.

The same tree can be found in a few other photos of mine:
here
and here . It is a patient subject.
