Coral Pink Sand Dunes SP\

After taking a couple of photos of this dune in the distance (and before the couple could leave their foot prints) I moved closer to the spot where I like to photograph this dune in the morning light. I was hoping to get a photo of their foot prints leading up the dune with them in the distance at the top. I guess once they were at there they decided the wind was too strong and it was too cold. They were gone by the time I got there.

Hello Allan,a fantastic shot of the dune.I know that you wanted a shot of a pristine dune but I think that the texture of the footprints on the edge really add to your picture.
This makes me think that this is probably one place I would like to visit in the future!

I was there less than a week before you. The dunes were completely overrun by off-road vehicles. The wind was crazy all the way from Coyote Buttes to Escalante. Very nice colors. Great that you had no tire marks or footprints other than the ones on top, which actually add interest. Regards,

Wow, what a beautiful scene! The smooth curves of the sand dune are very sensuous. I like the lighting which shows them off well, and also those footprints at the top of the dune add some interest as well. I visited this place about 5 years ago, however, there were a lot of ATV's on the dunes making it difficult to get a shot. Nice work!

great shot, nice compositionwith the lovely curves of the dune, would have been nice of the couple had been on the top, but still a wonderful shot anyway
