Photographer’s Note

I was traveling on I-70 through the beautiful state of Utah and I saw some interesting red rocks. There was a turnoff that said "scenic overlook". That's where I took this panorama. Please view the large post (when I post it) because this one has everything compressed and it looks bad. According to the sign there, here are some facts.
~For centuries, most travelers avoided this place
~They began construction in 1967 to make the I-70 go through here
~It cost $4.5 million to excavate 3.5 million cubic yards for 8 miles of road.
~It opened on 11/5/1970 and 2 more lanes were added in the mid-80's.
I took this using the stitch assist mode on my camera and used the Photostitch program that came with the camera.
