Photographer’s Note
Driving Utah's Highway 70, an east-west route, with many scenic areas and view points. This is the view looking east into Spotted Wolf Canyon. Beyond is the valley created by the Green River.
The road cuts through the San Rafael Swell mountain building process. The oldest rocks are Kaibab Limestone forming the base of the tile escarpment. The Chinle Formation overlays it.

Hi Ray,
Well composed and wonderful landscape!
I'm interesting in differnt color of fault.
And, it draws out a good effect in the entire image on curved highway as well as the scenery of background.
If I say the desire a bit technically, It's better to remove a little a black taste with which the whole is covered. I tried a workshop, yet this is my personal taste and I hope that you don't mind.
I recall the similar spectacle seen in Sedona in Arizona twenty years ago.
Regards,
mikio

Hello Ray,
This canyon demonstrates interesting forms and colors of rocks. You have captured it with very good composition and photographic quality. The highway gives the scale and additional nice elements to the composition. Excellent job!
Best regards,
Sergiy
