Photographer’s Note
Ending Fairyland loop trail, we had seen lots of thoses inhabitants but this one offers me an excellent composition with a short depth of field. If i had a recent Dslr like the D300 (this summer yeah !!), i could had made a continuous drive and take it when it jump down of the rock.

Bonjour Alexis,
I think I met this little fellow! Then again, it was probably one of his relatives... There are so many in that area.
Nice composition - on the thumbnail I couldn't quite tell what the shot was about but the large size shows excellent details. Good sharpness on the main subject, too - those little creatures are often hard to catch because they seem so "nervous"...
Nice one, thanks for sharing!
Best wishes,
Claudia

Hi Alexis, you know how much I love these little, "friendly" creatures..ehe..anyway it's a nice shot and the "inhabitant" shows great qualities as actor. Wish you'll get the D300 soon :-) greetings, Rikk

Hi Alexis,
it`s a very nice one! The depth of field is great here, the blurred background doesn`t distract from the subject. Technically it`s all perfect and your compo is nice.
Yes, with a D300 you could have shot this guy jumping, sometimes I wish my 400D would have more frames per seconds, but then I think "hey, I mostly shoot landscapes, I don`t need 6 frames per second", that`s why I focus on quality rather than frames per second.
Nevertheless you got a great one here, even if you couldn`t catch this little guy jumping ;-)
Take care
Mark
