Photographer’s Note

I've never seen such a range of earth color tones as I have photographing out west. It really becomes evident when the light gets low and shadows fall like here at Bryce Canyon. For me I think the highlight of this shot is the green area of forest lit at the far left mid-frame by the falling sun. It just seems to add that little something extra in terms of color fidelity to the shot.
