View from Upper Inspiration Point of Bryce Canyon. We were lucky that it was so clear as there was a bush fire in the lower part of the national park (behind me) and thankfully the wind was blowing the smoke in the opposite direction.

Vue de Bryce Canyon depuis Upper Inspiration Point. Nous avons été chanceux car une incendie brûlait dans la partie sud du parc (derrière moi) et heureusement le vent soufflait la fumée dans la direction opposée.

I have been several time in western USA but I never visited Bryce canyon, and I know is is a shame.
You picture shows well this place were nature made an excellent job, creating these marvellous structures.
I wander whether early discoverers were fascinated by this view, or they were just too busy to look for gold and richness.

Hi Nikki,
Bryce Canyon is so beautiful but I don't think it is easy to present its beauty. Because its beauty is in the overall area and not just one little area. It is hard to see it in such a small photo. One must be there to see it for themself. I've been here many time and took lots of photo but not too many that justifies its beauty. You did very well here, with the wonderful vivid color of the hoodoos in the valley, like an army soldiers trying to invade the city wall. Lovely blue sky to contrast the earth tone. At least here you have great weather if not in Death Valley. Excellent shot Nikki. I love it.

Etonnante structure de pierre aux couleurs éclatantes.
J'aime beaucoup ici le mélange de couleur. Le vert des sapins au loin est bienvenu car il ajoute encore plus de contraste à cette image. Quel point de vue !

Amazing view of eroded landscape. It's like a giant red wound on earth's skin. Great far reaching view, no signs of smoke in this direction. Althoug the sun is high, direction of shadows gives contrasty appearance.

This is a real impressive place, great light and colors to shot at this so big open area, usually not easy to get with so many details.

another great one!! This is the kind of shot that makes me feel SOOOOO small... (okay, I AM small, but you know what I mean. ;-) )
Intense colors, wonderful sky, incredible depth. The light is harsh, but we're used to that out West.

Bonjour Nikki,
Que c’est impressionnant de voir toutes ces cathédrales regroupées dans ce même endroit.
La palette des couleurs primaire y est représentée au complet ce qui donne des beaux effets.
La prise de vue est impeccable, notre regard se perd a l infini, magnifique.

Un paysage vraiment incroyable, ces pics rocheux semblent sculptés par l'homme ! Un bel ensemble de couleurs également. Et un cadrage nickel qui donne une bonne sensation de grandeur avec une profondeur de champ très étendue.

Salut Nikki,
c'est dingue ces incendies qui empêchent de faire des photos! Non mais...C'est le POV classique si je ne m'abuse mais je ne m'en lasse pas...superbe, avec une expo aux petits oignons...Bravo. Une photo qui faut avoir dans sa gallerie comme aurait dit Floydian!

Quel magnifique photo toute en lumiere et en contraste. C'est vraiment impressionnant!
Exposition irreprochable, bon cadrage et profondeur de champ infinie, essentielle a un paysage aussi grandiose.
L'histoire ne dit pas si vous avez ete malade, comme lors de votre passage en Australie, mais j'ai l'impression que vous vous en etes tire a bon compte cette fois... :-P)

Really a bright and intense photo of this famous Canyon. The composition is well proportioned leaving a greater room to the earth and less to the sky so creating a fine sense of depth and wide pace. The colours are outstanding, so alive and saturated. A good work.
