Photographer’s Note
Many school children go to the Bingham Canyon Copper Mine on field trips. I thought these boys, with their matching shirts and matching curiosity, were as interesting as the giant pit they are gazing into.

Well seen, This shot strikes my curiosity, I wonder what is down there! The "fuzzy" background is quite nice and so is the angle you chose. Good job!
I just read your profile and let me tell you that it doesn't matter where you are, the important thing is how you see things around you. Thanks for sharing!

I can't articulate the exact appeal of this picture David but there is something special about it.Perhaps it is how you have captured the awe these boys feel as they gaze down into the vast pit...too big for them to grasp with the narrowed vision of the binoculars. Or maybe it is the message that this mine's life has been measured in the time-span of many "childhoods" mined from terrace to terrace.

Nice daily life photo. They really are very expressive in their interest. I like the matching red in the shirts, blue in the trousers...and blond in the hair! Simmilar but not equal.
The haze in the backround is also good because it put more attention in the kids, but at the same time show interesting elements.

Another great shot at this impressive site! Forground figures with out of focus background really indicates the massave size of this mine.

Great picture! There seems to be a balance between the three kids. Nice colors and very interesting background.
Also, it tells me something about the place you visited, and I find it very interesting, so thanks for sharing it.

No, seriously, why should not you take more pictures of the kind?
