This was taken from Hwy 206 near Ajax Rd. due east from Wasco, Oregon looking over the valley that is now home to the windfarms of the wheat lands 0f Oregon and the Washington Cascades and Columbia River Gorge of both, Oregon and Washington States. The image was taken from the Cascade Mountain Viewpoint that I had discovered a few years back on one of my day trips exploring the backroads.
I used both polorizer and a 2 and 4 Grey Grad to save the sky and Mt. Adams, Washington seen in the rear.
-3 EV taken with a Nikon camera and lens

You have achieved an amazing saturation of this shot. Great view and very attractive picture as well. Bravo!

The composition is great. May be I find it a bit more colorful but that looks very pleasing and nice.

Wonderful shot of an area that is now lost forever to those damn useless and vista polluting wind machines. Nice to see you can still post your work from federal Custody.
Have a great weekend,

A surreal color vision, I am attracted to the foreground Lupine, which I often collect a few seeds from on my hikes, then sow in my yard.
PS: A Kennedy Tailings Wheel is visible to the east of Hwy 49 when approaching Jackson from the north. Originally there were 8 wheels covered by wood buildings.
Perhaps you could not see them because they were covered in the 1920's ??
I am fortunate to live in the 'Heart' of the Gold Country, just 13 miles from Coloma.
