White River Falls Photo

Photographer’s Note

This image is of the White River Falls that is located in the Central Oregon Desert Plateau Region. The Falls has a first come first serve park with swimming and a short hike to the old powerhouse. There is also excellent fishing and whitewater rafting nearby as this river runs into the Deschutes River that is well known for their Steelhead and Salmon runs.

kia ora Steven. The thing that strikes me about this image is the contrast between the oasis appearance of the foreground and the dryness of the prairie in the background...nicely captured dude.

Great DOF and shutter control to capture the waterfall movement.

I've not ever seen this falls, yet it must be near where my daughter lives. I'll have to look for it the next time I go to Prineville. I love the flowing water effect, very nicely done.
