Oregon's Umpqua River is a fine area to explore flora & fauna, and especially waterfalls. Highway 138 follows the Umpqua eastward from Highway 101 at Roseburg.
This is a view of Watson Creek, located about 2 miles past the spectacular Toketee Falls. Continue on the hiking trail from here about half a mile to Oregon's second tallest waterfall - Watson Falls, at 270 feet.

Beautifully executed shot, I love the soft milky feel of the water, and that you have managed to take this so crystal clear. This is an effect I always admire and that I cannot do. Great job, a really soft image that is easy to look at for a long time.

I am always happy to see waterfalls. Your exposure of 2 seconds seems just right. The water must have been moving fast. Nice crisp colors - nice vantage point. TFS

I like the effect of the slow speed on the water on the mood, very creative way to present this river. So typical of Oregon, very green with rocks covered with moss and if one is not careful could be sent slip-sliding away. Very well done, tfs.
(I'm the mad, permanent tourist who still enjoys Las Vegas even in extreme heat!)

Hi dear Ray
Great setting of 2 seconds shutter speed, the best selection, that can create so fantastic image like this. Also great focusing makes the best framework.
So fantastic image at all!
Thanks a lot and have a good start of new week, Takero

What an unusual place name. Love the POV, the vertical frame and the slow shutter speed which has turned the water into white fairy floss. You've captured the cool, unspoilt tranquillity of the place so well. Excellent shot.
Thanks for sharing, have a great weekend
