Photographer’s Note
There is an interesting fishing harbor at Newport, Oregon. We were heading back to California from Washington via the coast and made a short stop for breakfast and to explore the harbor before heading out again.
Newport is a city in Lincoln County, Oregon. It was incorporated in 1882, though the name dates back to the establishment of a post office in 1868. The beaches and Yaquina Head lighthouse are very photogenic and worth spending some time exploring also.
