Photographer’s Note
I took this photo near the Devil's Punchbowl park north of Newport, Oregon, on our camping trip to the beach in early October. This is a great park to capture the rugged coastline and the reddish rocks lining it.
I've missed being here, and as I haven't taken any new photos lately will post some from my archives.
Photo: Cropped, brightness and contrast adjust, level horizon, noise reduction, sharpened.

Hello Lori. Was digital noise very evident in this picture? I can see the effects of noise reduction. As for the view all I can say is wow! and beautiful. I like this type of seaside scene with waves crashing against rocks. Very good light and colors to show us this impressive scene. Cheers :-)

Hi Lori, glad to see that you're back. I'm looking forward to more photos. This photo is well exposed and the light is very nice. I like how the shore provides a natural frame for the water washing up on the waves.
Take care and TFP,
Don

Hi Lori,
Exceptionally high quality of resolution in this well composed shot. The foaming wave action is captured in two places - foreground and mid-frame, and all is seen with great clarity. I like this one very much, Lori. Its a reall keeper...later.

Lori I love how the details across this vertical frame fit together . Wonderful setting and I love how you captured that splashing wave behind that huge rock. Overall a very pleasing perspective view here. Good work!
