Newport is a great beach town on the Oregon coast - known for whale watching, deepsea fishing and excellent clam chowder at Mo's. I found this wood-carved statue outside a local restaurant there.

Hello Claudia,
I knew right off you had to be talking about Newport. One day about 10 years back I was sitting in Mo's and this old 'sea hag" sat down next to me and all the while ignored my girlfriend at the time, and when I ignored her she began to call me a flatlander and proceeded to get loud about it. I had to laugh when we left, as did my friend. This image of yours brought back good memories of my last experience at Newport, and with Newport's best "Old Sea Hag."

There is excellent detail in this shot. I think I would have cropped the right a bit to eliminate the light BG.
