Photographer's Note
I haven't posted anything in almost 2 months and I'm still having LIFE ISSUES!! After coming back from vacation (Sept 1st), we went to visit my wife's brother and found him in his house dead from a freak accident. Needless to say my wife is a mess, and I find that all my time is keeping my wife from curling up into a ball and crying all day. Now my wife's mother's cancer has come back, which is now an added stress for my wife. Last Monday my mother had a stroke and now I find ALL my time taking care of my wife, mother-in-law and my parents. I'm at my wits end and only find solitude when sitting somewhere in the middle of the forest with my eyes closed and just listen to nature talk to me. It has been my only comfort knowing that nature still cares for me and will sing to me or caress me with its wind. Sorry for dumping all this on you, but I really miss TE and all my friends and especially Lisa (delpeoples) who has emailed me and talked me back to posting again, just by listening and understanding. It may take a while for me to spent time critiquing photos again, but I feel this is the first step back to TE BLISS!!
What I would love for all of you to do real soon is to find a quiet place, close your eyes and listen to what nature has to say..........you will find that she loves you and will calm your spirit in ways that you'd never thought could be done.......and you might just find some "Hidden Worlds"
Have a great weekend and please keep my family in your daily thoughts and prayers

Hello Buddy,
The picture with this strange flowers in foreground is quite interesting.
But your story is really sad !
We all should be glad and thankfull to the Lord for every single second which is a gift to us, but life is hard enough and mills us every single day...
Can only wish you all the best for the future !
TFS and reminding us to the "realities" of the life.

Hello Buddy,
Thanks for sharing this lovely slice of nature, with the sunlight kissing the flowers, and the water in the background. It is a beautiful and serene picture.
I'm so sorry for the difficulties in your life at the moment. I am sending positive energy and best wishes your way. May you, your wife, and your extended family all feel the care and concern that I'm sure other TE members will also send your way. :-)

Hello Buddy,
many times I thought to myself, if something did not happen, even yesterday I want to send an email. Really, so much affected you and your family a lot of health problems, as well as your wife's brother dead. Usually, it is in life that one problem is not enough. I am very, very sorry, after reading your story. I hope that everything will work out fine. Just has to be good. You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers. I wish you and your family all the best.
Take care my dear friend and be very strong, because they need you a lot.

Dear Buddy - I am so sorry that you are having to carry such a heavy load and I send positive wishes your way. It's good that you can find solace in the natural world, I'm like that too and the beauty of a flower or a sunrise or a cloud puts life into perspective and provides balm to the soul. Your life sounds totally hectic but try to find a little time to search out the beauty in the world, you cannot be strong all the time and you need to recharge your own batteries.
Your shot focuses on the wonders of life which so often go unnoticed. Beautiful and peaceful and my wish for you. Warm regards dear Buddy. Rosemary

Hi Buddy,
I am so glad to see you post, I had been wondering over the past number of weeks and months, and I am really happy to see you post again. I am however, so sorry to hear of what has been happening. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
This shot says a lot to me though, and its amazing how minds think alike. A few years ago, I went through a tough time, my mum had suffered terribly for years, during which I was her carer. The time came for her to leave her pain behind, and as glad as I as to see it end, I was devastated, as she and I were closer than anybody else. The next day, I awoke feeling lost and completely at odds with the world. My mind was screaming at me, and I thought exactly as you did here. I packed up my bag, and took a solitary journey to my special place, the Japanses Gardens in Powerscourt house. I went to the Pergola in the centre at 8.30 am and sat and gathered my thoughts. I closed my eyes and listened to world around me, the birds chirping, the wind in my hair and face and just studied all that was around me. Surrounded by all of that beauty I felt a kind of sense of calm and of peace, and how lucky I was to be able to witness such things, and more importantly, appreciate them. Of course, the pain remained, and still does, and always will, but your posting here is a beautiful image that encapsulates everything about how I felt that day, and how photography helps me as well to take a moment from the trials of day to day.
Your image is beautiful Buddy, I thank you sincerely for sharing. I type this with a tear in my eye. I will find a capture of my special place to share with all the wonderful TE folk out there today, as a thank you for this.
Take care of those around you, and take care of yourself.
Best wishes from Ireland.
Noel

Hi Buddy
like this shot, it so creative and original. The light and tantalising out of focus view here are genius. Superb fg detailing and an artistically composed shot.
So sorry to hear your troubles, friend. Life does sometimes pile in on top of us and I feel your pain. This image is a testament to your thoughts and I hope things get better soon.

Hi Buddy,
After reading your note, the photo seemed almost irrelevant for a moment; your first few words took me right away from it for a while as the story unfolded. Don't think I've read anything like it on TE before, but am glad I stopped to click on your photo. It can be hard to find that quiet place, although 4.00 in the morning can do the trick, as all the rushing, swerving, and siren sounds stop. Anyway, I hope things look up in time and we get to see some more shots like this one. The soft light glancing off those flower balls and stems give this a very warm mood, and there's a nice contrast between the delicacy of the plants and rugged solidity of the rocks in the blurry yonder. Very atmospheric and uplifting.
Best wishes to you and your wife.
Regards,
Andrew

Hello Buddy
It is nice to see you back again. But my gosh, the heavy load you have to carry around is almost to much for one man.
I wish you and your loved ones all the best and the strength needed to come out of this stronger than before. May nature bless you with strength and sanity. My thoughts are with you.

Dear Buddy
I'm so glad to see you back here, but such dreadful news to hear of what's been happening in your life. They say that what doesn't kill us makes us stronger, so you and your wife must be very strong indeed. As I said to you in my email, no pressure to post or critique, but take what solace you can by being on this site and amongst friends. And of course, from your beloved nature. You're in my thoughts and prayers, stay strong, friend.
Hugs from Down Under
