Photographer’s Note
I like this picture very much, mostly because it explains the characteristic nature of United States in only one picture.

Excellent! The mirror image combined with the blurred background gives an amazing sense of depth. The landscape is beautiful! For some reason there is a difference in tone between the background and the foreground which I think also adds to the depth, maybe it's just the interaction between green and red.

Oh, wow! What a wonderful perspective! I'm sure most of us have done this kind of photography but this one really works. It is amazing how well you captured the sourroundings - both in the mirror and outside.

Congratulations Susanna - this really is magnificent, for the reasons all the others pointed out. Having done half a year's worth of traveling in the US, I can only agree with your notes. Which mountain are we seeing in the rear view mirror - is that Mt Hood?

Some say the US is best seen from the passenger's rearview mirror - great job capturing it! Interesting composition and nice colors - I like the shape the blurred landscape in the background has taken.
