Photographer’s Note
This is a field of red clover in the Tualatin Valley of northwestern Oregon. This crop is used for honey as well as for animal feed. If only a photograph could capture the surprise of coming over a hill and seeing these crimson fields spread out across the rolling valley floor!

Very nice picture James, good framing and pretty sky too. If I were you I would saturate
or lighten the clover field a bit. Funny how they look like tulips.
Have a good Sunday !

Very beautiful colors, and I like the sharpness of the photo. TFS

I know the feeling. As one comes slowly over a rise not knowing what to expect, the scene slowly unrolls itself into view, and for a second, time stands still and the mind freezes. Not able to comprehend but gradually soaking in. If only our camera, can capture how the eyes see things, the way our mind inteprets it.
