| This was taken in White Sands New Mexico. The dramatic skies looked amazing against the endless plane of white sand dunes. It had just rained before I got there, so the sand was nice and cool and partially wet. |

Sara,
The overall composition is very good, and there's excellent detail. For instance, we can clearly see the rain pitted sand. This detail compensates for the flat lighting on the sand.

Yes, I can see the imprints from the rain on the sand. Very interesting detail. The composition is perfect. I love the dramatic sky. I hope to visit this beautiful place someday.
