What a great sky! It really contrasts well with the white cross and the stucco mission. The lighting is very good too. I really like it.

Hi Pam, nice entry, first one or not. Angle is interesting and the colors are well saturated and warm. detail is crisp. My only negative comment would be that it is tilted a bit, I think the imaginary line through the two crosses wold be what I would shoot for as vertical. Shadows are nice and the white is not overexposed, nice capture.

Good first shot, I like the way you cropped the image to give height. THe colors are natural and sunshine on the cross provides good contrast to the dark sky. The glimmer of hope these dark days....

Nice colors Pam.
I also like the details of the chapel. The dark sky gives it a mysterious quality.

Welcome to TE..!!!
Mel pointed out on me that you were entering the TE fields so i was curious ;-)
Your first entry is nice with high contrast, just as i like to see them. The chapel really pops out against the dark grey sky and your exposure on the white is really good, still lots of detail.
Minor thing is the tilt and the falling line, in CS2 and CS3 you can easy correct that so that the building stands more straight and proud in the landscape.
Nevertheless a good first image...keep them coming.

I think you made a very good choice in verticality here, a little redressing of the light tilt could be done in Photoshop as already said above; it is a great capture. The light is magic, as is the dark sky and the little chapel stands out very well against this and the foliage. One cas see many details in the tower, I like it a lot.

This is such a great photo. You got the light and the great architecture there. The dark on the BG is such a nice thing and that is the moment that cannot be repeated. Beautiful!
